Argentine Senate Rejects Legal, Elective Abortion

The main obstacle to apply the concept of  pharresia on this context is the fact that post-truth is to much implicated, everyone have their own truth and is difficult to know who´s right. In my opinion people are born 
to learn how to be free and once that freedom is achieved comes with a huge resposability, get to the point of needing an abortion its a result of being irresponsible with that freedom, however, if the mother is unable to provide her child of optimal living conditions, it's unfair that the baby has to live paying for the parents' mistakes, so in this case the abortion 
should be considered as the last alternative to prevent it.

    We are not going to get the absolute truth when we're talking about abortion, everyone has their own true and that stops us to find parrhesia.

      I think the same with Sara, abortion is always a complicate topic to discussion and we really don’t know how is the real situation of a women who is pregnant . so every person is responsable about of the consequences and what they do.

    I agree with Sara, everyone has a different truth based on their own reality so the women can decide, but I think that the country should give to the women that want to have an abortion some save condition to prevent death caused by bad practices in clandestine places. The truth is that even if the abortion is illegal when someone decides to not have the baby, will find a way to abort .

    Abortion is one of those topics that are never going to satisfy everyone, even though it´s such a delicate subject. There are valid arguments for each one of the poles that share their opinion, so what goverments should do (Argentina, in this case), is making sure that the people that consider abortion as the way out of their situation have a safe, protected way to solve their problem, respecting everyone´s opinion.
    So i agree with Sara, and slightly disagree with Argentine senate´s desition. Abortion is going to keep happening no matter what they do.

    Abortion in all Latin American countries has been controversial, never reached an agreement for the good or evil of women, therefore, when signing this type of agreement, it is justifying the irresponsibility of women by not avoiding an unwanted pregnancy. I observe that the president, despite not agreeing with the abortion, decided to sign the legalization of it.

    This is one of the most complex issues to deal with and it is not strange that it is in this where you try to speak with delicacy or something until you get away from the truth.
