When we are talking about
abortion, we should to know that is a community problem, education problem,
medical problem, but in countries like Colombia, Argentina, Chile that conform
South America (which supposed to are non-secularize) it’s a Religion problem as
well. The political decisions should be taken by congressmen, politics, and
people who are able to make the answers for this kind of problems.
In Argentina the Catholic
Church has lost influence and moral authority, why? Apart from the
secularization, they are in a clerical caste and avalanche of sex abuse
scandals that makes impossible to bring a correct opinion about this reform.
For another way and wrapping in what it’s important to us, in Argentina, abortion is only allowed in cases of rape
and risks to a woman’s health what the constitution want to do is
allowed to the women who are in their 14 weeks of pregnancy practice the
abortion due a 3,000 women in Argentina have died of illegal abortions since
1983.
So, the point I would like to reach is how we can know if the abortion
is as bad as it shows, or how good are it? How can we know if the government,
the news, the press is always saying the truth not, if they are saying what
they want to us to believe, and why? They are manipulating us with too many
information false as true.
1. What´s the main obstacle on the press to practice parrhesia?
2. What are consequences of don't practice parrhesia in this situations? What are the consequences for you not telling the truth?
3. What can you do about the last two situations?
For me this is a really sad new, i totally agree with abortion. I think that theres parrehsia because the point of view of the catholic church isn´t the only truth.
ResponderBorrarI think that as women we have the decision on our owns body and abortion will exist, but its very important to legalize because it could save a lot of lifes (the mom life), yes its
contradictory talking about a ´mourder´for saving one life, but its her decision, not the church or any politician decision.
ResponderBorrarI consider that we spent so much time triying to find an absolute truth that makes so hard understanding that there isn´t one. What is obvious at simple sight is the fact that people are dying, and its neccesary to keep this situation under control, legalization of abortion may have became in a necesitie to prevent the dead of women whose bad luck have take them to that point.
In my opinion the Catholic Church has lost too much influence on citizens, today we do not rely on Catholic authority, what is good or what is wrong, we let ourselves be guided by personal interests and not by social consequences or interests , we rely on our current personal situation to make decisions
ResponderBorrarI m agree , because the church as a symbol of faith, respect and love for others an us, during the time they have being involved in events that discredit them , which persons as me , start to think if all the church teach and profess it’s true. For that , many persons change their ideology and join to accepting abortion , that includes politicians who debate against the conservative politicians who doesn’t acept abortion .
ResponderBorrarabortion is a personal decision, nobody can judge when didn't know the reality of the others, it really sad that argentina senate reject the abortion legalization i believe that religion is a important aspect that make it happened, the country is very traditional. the new have the truth.
ResponderBorrari think that the abortion is good only when we already know that the child will born sick or something like that. On the other hand, why abort? in our days, there are many methods to evit be pregnant. So, if the couple don't want to have a child, don't be irresponsable.
